Gateway NV7922u 17.3-Inch Cherry Red Laptop The Gateway NV7922u is essentially a mid-range desktop replacement laptop model. It has the new Intel i5-430M (2.26Ghz) processor, a 500GB hard drive and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. The external casing of this model is red in color while the rest of the laptop is black and silver in color. I have always loved Gateway products, as they have always been quite distinctive in design. The keyboard and track-pad area has a flat and minimalist look and the hinge of the laptop is silver in color. With a great price tag, good design and a comprehensive set of features, its hard to go wrong with the Gateway NV7922u.
Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q860 18.4-Inch Gaming Laptop: If you plan to get a laptop for doing a lot of video/graphics work or gaming, consider the Toshiba Qosmio laptop series. This model has very similar essential specs with the Gateway model above but it has a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M graphics card and a host of impressive multimedia features. This model is mostly a black laptop but its sides, logo and edges are highlighted in red. Its hard to walk pass this laptop without giving it a second take.
